Lease and Leasing Management

Volkswagen Immobilien is the central contact within the Volkswagen Group for the leasing and management of commercial properties both national and international, e.g. office space, logistics, warehouse and manufacturing facilities.

On our clients' behalf we have negotiated leases for commercial properties of up to 90,000 m², achieving savings of up to 50% over the term of the lease.

Profitability and security throughout the leasing process 

We take responsibility for the entire leasing process, from the analysis of the client's needs though the search for investors and the invitation of tenders to the signing of the lease. In addition, we support our clients' existing leases and help optimise them where appropriate.

Our aim is not only to reduce the rent: we also minimise other costs and risks by adjusting the contractual arrangements e.g. on maintenance and repairs, indexing and reinstatement obligations.

                  Once you have moved into the property, we'll be there to support you over the entire term of the lease. We do the commercial admin work, take care of internal and external communications relating to the lease and draw up supplements to the lease if required.

                  • Monitoring of lease periods
                  • Internal and external lease-related correspondence with, developers, landlords, committees and technical departments such as Controlling, Accounting, Tax, Insurance, Balance Sheet, VW Kraftwerk etc.
                  • General commercial administration (e.g. monitoring payment transactions, checking the plausibility of offers, obtaining other offers etc.)
                  • Annual check of running costs and plausibility thereof, dealing with objection proceedings
                  • Assessment and beginning of claims for damages, reinstatement obligations, compensation payments and expert's reports
                  • Drawing-up / negotiation of supplements during the term of the lease (e.g. in the event of conversions, lease extensions etc.)
                  • Giving notice on a lease
                  • Carrying out viewings and inspections (to determine current condition etc.), with acceptance and handover of the rental space

                    We are there for you over the entire term of the lease
